Read the Bible
As you know, it is important to read the Scriptures if you want to grow in the Lord. Deuteronomy tells us that God’s people were to surround themselves with the words of God:
These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates.
Deut 6:6-9.
Even the kings in Old Testament times were required to write out God’s word for themselves:
It shall be, when [the king] sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write himself a copy of this law in a book, out of that which is before the priests the Levites. It shall be with him, and he shall read from it all the days of his life; that he may learn to fear Yahweh his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them.
Deut 17:18-19
Please bear in mind that coloring Bible verses is not intended to be a substitute for your own Bible reading and devotional study. It is intended as a leisure time activity. But you could take the opportunity to meditate on the verses or memorize them as you color each page.
